Medication Administration Responsibility

Available with Main Office software version 6247 and Clinical Point of Care software version 2643 dated 12-12-17, a new field has been added to the Medication Grid.
Agencies may now indicate who is the responsible party for medication administration for each prescribed medication entered into a patient’s medication grid.
The entered Administration Responsibility will be included in the medication snap shot for the Plan of Care and on the Medication Profile and medication treatment sheets.
Hospice agencies will now also see the entered payer responsibility for each prescribed medication in the medication snapshot for the Hospice Plan of Care and the Medication profile.
