Medicare Home Health Rural Add On

As of January 1, 2018 Medicare had removed the Rural Add on for Home Health. Medicare has retroactively reinstated the 3% Rural Add on. Medicare is responsible for adjusting payments retroactive to January1, 2018. Moving forward agencies will need main office software version 6305 dated 04/19/18. The software will begin including the 3% Rural Add on in the PPS dollar calculations in the software.
