Phrases option added to Case Management Notes

Available on version 4653 will be the ability to use Phrases under the ‘Case Management’ Notes area.

October 1, 2010 ICD9 Codes

The new list of diagnosis and surgical codes effective October 1, 2010 will be available on tonight’s software update, Version 4650. When you go into HHC3000 after doing the software update, you should see a reminder note on the left side of the main menu reminding you to go into Utilities and run the “Update ICD9” utility.

New Clinical Update Version 743

Please have all of your HHC3000 Clinical software users update their laptops to version 743 as soon as possible.

Office Address added to Medication Profile

Available on version 4648 we have added the Agency Address to print on the top of the Medication Profile sheet.  If the patient is assigned to an Office on their main demographics screen we will print the Office Name and address.

Now Sorting option on the Authorization Status Report

Available on version 4648 there is a new Sort By option on the Authorizations Status Report to include/sort by Primary Responsible Employee.

Correction to the Patient Register

Available on version 4647 will be a correction to the Employee Register report for the ‘Employee was Active Based on Hire and Inactive Dates’ date range which was not working properly.

Cell Phone# option added to Employee Work Schedule Calendar

Available on version 4634 will be a new option to be able to print the Employee’s Cell# instead of their Home# on the Employee Work Schedule Calendar.

As of July 1st some of the Point of Origin (Source of Admission) codes changed in description or were discontinued.  We have received quite a few phone calls so we thought it would be helpful to list some sources for information here.

OASIS Correction Log button

We had received several phone calls inquiring about the OASIS Correction log for our users entering Comprehensive OASIS assessments in HHC3000.  In the past you used to edit the OASIS assessment and click on a ‘Correction Log’ button to enter a correction number/comment in before resubmitting to the state.  Now when you highlight an assessment on the patient’s Acticity screen that has already been submitted to the state (has a date in the ‘State’ column in the Create OASIS Files screen) a button with a piece of paper and a red arrow on it will show up (to the right of the lock button) that gives you access to the Correction Log screen.

CAHPS Survey – FAZZI Users

If you are getting a rejection from FAZZI stating “MedicarePayerFFS must be a 0 or 1”, you will need to contact FAZZI and let them know you are submitting using the Standard File Specification instead of the Legacy File Specification.  We made changes to the HHC3000 in August due to changes in file layouts per new specifications sent to us by FAZZI, under the assumption that all new submissions would have to be under the new specifications.  Everything appeared to us as just a change in specifications.  We’ve had several changes from different vendors as they fine tune their submission requirements.  We were not aware that FAZZI would allow sending both the Standard (new) and Legacy (old) formats.  The use of the terms Standard and Legacy (their internal definitions) were new to us until we called them today because many of our agencies were getting the error previously stated and we figured out what was happening.  As of August, 2010 all HHC3000 files are created in the Standard File format for FAZZI as of the result of the changes we had made.  The problem is that FAZZI may be comparing your new submissions against the old Legacy specifications.  They have told us that with just a phone call from you to they will be able to correct the problem.  They do not know for sure which agencies use our software.  We are sorry for any inconvenience.
