Correction for Home Health Aide Care Plan

Tonight’s update will include a fix to remove the Print Assessment button from view when a Home Health Aide Care Plan is highlighted in the patient’s Activity screen.  Since the ‘Print Form’ button is used to print a Home Health Aide Care Plan the Print Assessment button being visible just causes confusion so we have removed it.

New Features – 4504

Schedules – On the employee work schedule calendar we added a report parameter that will allow you to run the calendars for active employees only.

Billing – We added a new Rebills/Holds report.  The report is located in two places, under the billing reports menu and from within the Rebills/Holds section in ANSI Billing.

Clinical Notebook Version

If you have notebook computers that are not on Version 711 you should update those computers.  The update includes additional OASIS error checking in M1307, M1310, M1312, M1314.

We added 3 new patient activities; Pediatric Comprehensive Assessment, Physical Therapy Comprehensive Assessment and Occupational Therapy Comprehensive Assessment.  Version 4501.

Print Color UB04 & 1500

Medicare Hospice Billing

Changes for Medicare Hospice billing, both UB04 and electronic, to incorporate daily visits showing 1/4 hour units, is complete.  The changes are date sensitive, 2009 visits will bill under the old format and 2010 visits will bill under the new format.  There are no user setup requirements.

Introducing the Allegheny Software System Message System

Welcome to the Allegheny Software System Messages system. This is designed to provide you with a mechanism for being able to see what we have done or are doing in various versions of our software.

Each of the categories mentioned will allow you to easily see information that pertains to the particular segment of the software that we are notifying you about. Here are the various categories we have available:

  • HHC 3000 Office Software
    This is provided for information pertaining to the HHC 3000 “main system software.” Most of our agencies simply refer to this as HHC 3000 or “Allegheny.”
  • HHC 3000 Clinical Point of Care
    This is provided for information pertaining to the HHC 3000 Clinical Point of Care software that is  installed on the laptops for your clinicians. This information only pertains to agencies that have purchased the HHC 3000 Clinical Point of Care software.

We hope that this new effort will help you to better understand where we are with our development efforts and to create a better link to you, our faithful customers.
