A new clinical laptop update is now available that includes changes to correct nbPages Frame errors and List Index Out of Bounds errors.  Please get laptop version 717 as soon as possible.

Referrals Setup

In the Patient Referral screen there is a section at the bottom to enter in the “Other” Referral Source information, i.e. referral person, facility, sales representative.  A few agencies have mentioned that because the fields are free form (not tied to a database), then the same referral person may be entered with different spellings, thus show up as different people on reports.  We added a Other Referral Source Lookup field that can be used to pull in “other” referral sources that are established in the Other-Setup / Referral Setup section of the program.  In that section you will see at the bottom of the screen the new “Other” Referral Sources fields.

PPS Status Report – Added Employee to Export File

In September 2009 we added the employee to the PPS Status report.  The employee was not setup to be included in the export file.  That has been fixed.

New Security Features

Under Other-Setup / System Overrides / Security there is a new options to block the user from editing the billing date or billing date paid fields in visits and timesheets.  There is also a new option to block the user from editing the payroll date paid in visits and timesheets.  Both of these options override full access.  If turned on and a user needs access to those fields, they can be overridden in the system security for the user.

Correction for Symptom Control Rating Warning

Version 4518 contains a correction for the M1020/M1022 Symptom Control Rating Warning that was coming up even when the Rating field was left blank on a V-Code or E-Code.

485 – Safety Measures, Function Limitations etc.

On the 485, in the Safety Measures, Functional Limitations, Activities Permitted, and Mental Status sections, we added a new “flash” button in the upper right-hand corner.  If pressed, a screen of check boxes for several items that could apply to that section appears.  Simply check the boxes that apply and the post.

Clinical Laptop Update 715

HHC3000 Clinical laptop update includes corrections for nbPages errors, and List Index out of Bounds issues when importing from a previous visit note.

The Clinical software will update to version 715 and the Data Transfer Utility will remain at build 711.

New Sort by Option on the Patient Register
