Enhancement Main/Clinical Software

A new enhancement has been added to the software.  This enhancement will alert a second user when another user is currently editing a Visit record.  This currently only applies to routine visit documentation and not comprehensive assessments.

The second user will see an alert when they try to edit a routine visit record that someone else is currently working on.  The edit lock should remove itself when the first user exits the record.

If the recorded needs to be unlocked manually, a Main user may unlock the record via the Activities Screen>VIEW BUTTON.  If the record is locked, there will be a ‘lock’ symbol at the bottom of the VIEW screen.  Users can click that lock symbol and unlock the record.

This new feature is included in the Main software version 7708 (05/28/2025) and Clinical 3072 (05/27/2025) for our CLOUD users.  This enhancement is not applicable for server-based software.

History of Sent Dates for PHYSICIAN ORDERS

A new feature has been added to the Main Software to be able to view the history of when a user has marked that a PHYSICIAN ORDER has been sent, resent, and returned.

When a user enters or updates a date that a PHYSICIAN ORDER has been SENT, RESENT, and/or RETURNED, the software records the date, time and user that made the change

This feature is available with the 7625 (01/21/2025) Main Software update.

Value Based Purchasing Adjustment

Version 7621 dated 1/15/2025 is available and will include a new Value-Based Purchasing Adjustment % field. This will allow agencies to adjust accordingly. The value-based purchasing payment adjustment will occur prior to the Medicare sequestration.

Enhancement to Past Medical/Surgical History Fields

A new feature has been added to the General Assessments and OASIS Start of Care Assessments.  This new feature has been added to the History tab within Demographics.

The feature will allow clinicians to choose from a list of items to populate the Past History/Medical History field and the Past Surgical History field.

The enhancement is included in version 7470 (03/18/2024) of the Main Software and 3027 (03/19/2024) of the Clinical Software.

Patient Medications Enhancement

There have been a few enhancements added to Patient Medications

  1. Active Medications Filter
  2. PRN Medications Enhancement
  3. Medication Administration Documentation (Clinical Only)

These enhancements are available with Main update 7455 (02/02/2024) and Clinical update 3022 (02/02/2024)

New HCFA 1500 Insurance Setup features

Main software, Version 7429 includes updates to Insurance setup.

Within HCFA 1500 Setup, Other Setup, agencies can now define Field 24I Provider ID Qualifier and can select Fields 24J Use Employee Taxonomy Code if necessary for their insurance setup.

Enhancement Main Software: Patient Signatures

With the 7372 (10/20/2023) Main software update, an enhancement has been added to the Control Board to allow Main Software users to view visits/documentation that had a Patient’s signature applied in Clinical and/or the date/time of the Clinician’s Electronic Approval applied.

Adding Incident Report within Clinical Software

An enhancement has been added to the Clinical Software with version 3007 (09/19/2023) to allow a Clinical User to add an Incident Report outside of Visit Documentation.
