We added new field (Religion/Spiritual) to the Patient Misc. screen.  The field will print on the profile and intake forms.

We added the employee’s gender as an option to the Employee Listing – User Defined report.

The NUBC has determined that point of origin codes B=”transfer from another home health agency” and C=”readmission to the same home health care agency” are not consistent with the definition.  As of July 1, 2010 CMS will no longer accept claims with these codes.  As of March 24, 2010 the codes will be deleted from the options in HHC3000.

We added a new checkoff labeled “Show active days for range of service instead of length of stay” to the Hospice Length of Stay Report.  If checked, and you are running the report for a range of dates, the report will calculate the number of days that the patient received Hospice within the range of dates selected for the report.  If not checked, the length of stay from the date the patient went on Hospice shows.

On the Physician Orders screen we added two new types of orders; Hospice Recertification and Hospice IDT Activity.  In addition we added the Certification Dates.

On the authorizations screen under patient maintenance we added a “Authorizations vs Visit Only” column to the balance displays.  The existing balance column includes scheduled and unverified visits.  The new column includes only verified visits when calculating the balance.  This was a request from one of our agencies.

Please be advised, that recent versions of AVG Free have introduced an incompatibility between AVG Free and the standard FTP protocol during long FTP transactions. This incompatibility may result in failures of FTP transactions such as obtaining updates or synchronizing clinical data in the clinical software.

Due to a lack of configuration options in the Free version of AVG’s anti-virus software, the only way to circumvent the incompatibility is to uninstall the AVG Free software. If you are utilizing AVG Free, we recommend that you select a different anti-virus software that can allow for the configuration necessary for long FTP transactions to be allowed.

If you are not experiencing problems with FTP transactions (obtaining updates or transferring data to/from the clinical software) and you are using AVG Free, you may continue to use AVG Free until such time that you do experience these problems. You are likely not experiencing these problems yet because you are still using an older version of their software.

The file specifications for FAZZI & Associates were changed.  We incorporated those changes into the software.

Available on version 4528 we have merged the Transfer Not Discharged and Transfer Discharged Blank Comprehensive OASIS Assessment forms into one form that includes the M0100 question options so you can notate it as either a 6 – Transfer Not Discharged or a 7 – Transfer Discharged Assessment.

Available on version 4528 we have added a Patient Office filter field on the Employee Visits and Hours Summary Report.
