2015 Face To Face Encounters

Face to Face Encounter documentation available with both the Main office and Clinical Point of Care software has been updated as of Jan 2, 2015 to reflect regulatory changes to the Face to Face Encounters for Start of Care January 1, 2015 or later.  A new check box ‘Face to Face 2015 format applies’  is now available in the Face to Face tab of the 485 and on the Physician order screen if generating a Special Type of Physician order, Face to Face Encounter.  The print form of the documents will print fields for the Physician to document the date of the encounter with the certifying language and signature line.  As a reminder Attachments are available for agencies to save and attach any Discharge summaries or Physician Visit documentation that supports the patients need for skilled services and Home bound status.
