ICD 10 CM Update and Update For Medicare PPS Billing

Agencies will need to update the main Office and Clinical Point of Care Software prior to October 1, 2016 to receive the updates for the ICD 10 CM code set and PPS Billing Grouper.  Over 5,500 ICD 10 changes were made to the code set and will be effective October 1, 2016.  Agencies will need Main Office software Versions 6028 dated 9/26/16 or later.  Clinicians will need Clinical Point of Care Software Version 2489 dated 9/26/16 or later.  Updates to the grouper for medicare PPS billing are included in the version updates.
